Huma Qureshi, who turned a year older yesterday, brought in her birthday with friends in Armenia. Not only that, she gifted herself a brand new Mercedes and is understandably obsessed with it! Here, the actress talks about her wish for this year, the kind of movies she wants to act in and judging India’s Best Dramebaaz (IBD), her debut TV show.
I love to travel, what better than taking off to a new destination on your birthday! This year I chose Armenia, which I haven’t explored before. I am travelling with some of my closest friends.
My wish is definitely to work in better films, dabble in various genres and play interesting characters.
It’s a great feeling to be a part of IBD and watch these young talents. The children are adorable and the show is positive as it focuses on developing and guiding these young performers in the most encouraging manner.
It’s difficult because they are all so good. I also feel it’s unfair to judge them as they end up teaching us more.
A film is a film irrespective of the language or the industry, it’s made with a lot of passion and diligence. It was a great learning experience for me to work with such superstars.
I would love to do a comedy or a rom-com since I have not explored this genre that much.
