Now, online admissions for diploma courses in Gujarat

There is good news for students seeking admissions to diploma courses in the state. The admission process for diploma courses after class 10 will be conducted online, beginning year 2010-2011. Students will not need to physically come to the admission committee. They can, instead, register themselves for the on-line admission process through the internet facility made available at the 63 help centres in the state.

Students can buy the information booklet and PIN for the registration from these help centres by paying Rs250 between June 3 and June 16. The PIN will be alphanumeric and case sensitive, so students will need to enter the codes in exactly the same manner.

The registration will begin on June 5 at 4 pm on www.gujacpc.nic.in. The last date for the online registration is June 16. Students will need to submit their registration form and self-attested copies of other necessary documents at the nearest help centres. After this, students can participate in the choice-filling process.

The Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC) has informed in a press release that all students seeking admissions to diploma courses will have to register themselves online within the stipulated time period. Those failing to do this will not be considered for admission, through any other process.
