Navratri reaches crescendo at IIMA

The country's finest B-school had a befitting celebration of the nine-night festival on their premises. The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) celebrated Navratri with high spirits and great vigour. The celebration was open to students of all colleges across the city, and students dressed in their traditional best and dancing to authentic Gujarati songs were a treat to watch.

Cultural secretary of IIMA, Vishnu Thurpati, said," We invited students of all colleges and thought of having a garba competition. Institutes like Gujarat Law Society (GLS), Som Lalit and MICA are competing in the competition, while NID and we are simply participating, and will join in the garba."

The evening saw some beautiful performances by the groups representing various city colleges at the competition. A GLS student, Keta Shah, also a participant at IIM's garba, said, "We are preparing for this competition since the last one week. It's fun to be here."
