The last day of the inter-zonal Youth festival of Gujarat University 'Khalbali 2010' made the students dance to its tunes.

The event which began with a great bang saw some excellent performances being delivered by the students.

Among the 25 competitions, it was the mime competition, held at the Senate Hall of Gujarat University, where students opted for some interesting and historical topics, which enthralled the audience. Similar competitions were also held at HK College since morning where the enthusiastic crowd cheered on the participants.

The prize distribution ceremony was equally fervent with students keeping their fingers crossed and waiting eagerly for their names to be called out. Guests for the event were Vice-Chancellor (VC) Parimal Trivedi, in-charge Registrar Minesh Shah and other principals of colleges.

Complimenting the winners, vice-chancellor Parimal Trivedi, said, "These winners will further represent Inter University Youth festival, which will be held in the end of October in Ujjain. Hence, the competition is not over, but instead has become tougher now."

Regarding the selection of participants, Subhash Brahmbhatt, Principal of HK College, said, "From the recently conducted zonal youth festivals, the best three from each zone will be selected. So, from the five zones, there will be 15 participants in total, three each from each zone. Hence in every competition, we will find 15 participants as they were selected earlier."
