At the annual inter-college festival of the National Academy of Event Management and Development (NAEMD), Josh 2009, JG College of Commerce won the ‘best college’ title.

At the annual inter-college festival of the National Academy of Event Management and Development (NAEMD), Josh 2009, JG College of Commerce won the ‘best college’ title while SM Patel Institute of Commerce and New LJ Commerce College were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Shivani Vyas was made the College Idol in the females’ category, finishing ahead of Esha Shah and Poonam Pujara. In the males’ category, Monark was declared the winner while Manu Kamat and Rajkumar were the first and second runners-up, respectively.

The two-day festival at Tagore Hall ended on Saturday. The annual event included various competitions between the different participating colleges, which tested the potential, talent, skills and creativity of  the students.

On Friday, the Mr and Ms University competition was organised by the academy. The Mr University title went to Siddharth Raghuvanshi while Radhika Shah bagged the Ms University title for this year. The Mr Robust title went to Kartik Modi while Simi Solanki was chosen as Ms Smile. In the students’ choice category, the crown went to Pujan Vyas in the men’s category and Darshini Soni in the women’s category.
