IIMA team wins International Case Masters Competition

The International Case Masters Competition (ICM), initiated by IIMA as part of its golden jubilee celebration aimed at promoting the changing global management practices through original case studies will culminate on Sunday with a prize distribution ceremony.

The themes of the case studies, which received more than 100 entries, included emerging economies and new growth opportunities, evolving financial landscape, new ventures and open track.

A team from IIMA comprising of Deepanakar Garg, Kumar Sangeetesh, Abhimanyu Talwar, Aditya Garg and Abhishek Halder were declared overall winners. They will be awarded a cash prize of $3000.

Indu Mehta from Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research was declared the category winner under the category of evolving financial landscape while NMIMS University's Mala Srivatsava was the case category winner under Changing Marketing Paradigms.

While a team from Welingkar Institute of Management was declared winner under New Ventures category, IIMA's Asha Kaul bagged an award under Open Track category. These winners will be awarded a cash prize of $1000.

Chakravathy - Professor of Strategy and International Management at IMD, Switzerland and Professor Sai Yayavaram - part of the faculty of NUS, Singapore. They are also a part of the panel of judges for the case writing contest.
