The Indian Institutes of Management on Monday announced extension in the registration period for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011.
The sale of CAT vouchers has been extended till Saturday, October 1, 2011 and the registration process until Tuesday, October 4, 2011. However there are no changes in any other terms and conditions specified earlier.
According to information provided by Prometric, "The extension has been made to accommodate students interested in applying to schools which have this year decided to join CAT 2011, for their admissions." Such institutes include Indian Institutes of Technology and Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2011 will be conducted by the IIMs, in partnership with Prometric, from October 22 through November 18, 2011. Vouchers for the CAT 2011 are available for sale at selected Axis Bank branches. For more detail candidates can visit the official website - www.catiim.in
