Exam paper wasn’t leaked: Railway board

Two days after applicants forcibly cancelled the all-India written exam for the 1,000 posts of assistant stationmasters for Central Railway at an Andheri centre after claiming that the question paper was leaked, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) dismissed the claim.

After inquiring into the disruption of the railway entrance exam at Valia Chhaganlal College, the RRB concluded that there was no paper leak and, hence, there will be no re-examination.

“We checked the photocopies of the answer sheets that Rajkumar Patil had. They did not match any of the three question papers. There was no paper leak,” said BK Dadabhoy, chairman, RRB, Mumbai.

BVS activist Priya Patil, who was one of the applicants, said: “We had seen the three keys (set of answers to the questions) and compared them with the question papers. They matched perfectly. The Board is trying cover up the issue.”
