Complaint against fake lawyer in Ahmedabad

Jatin Chauhan, who works as a secretary at Bar Council of Gujarat has lodged a complaint against one Michael Francis, 63.

The complaint state that Francis posed as a lawyer and cheated people.  Francis, a resident of Apeksha Aradhana society in Petlad, is a B.Com graduate but posed as a lawyer and allegedly had been cheating people in Khambhat and Anand for the last 30 years.  His letterhead, which had his qualifications printed on it, also mentioned that he was a BCom with LLB. He apparently carried the certificate number of some other advocate while posing as a lawyer. He was also appointed as the president of Petlad Bar council.
