COMED-K test scores are out

The results of the entrance test conducted by the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) for admission to professional courses on May 9, were announced on Wednesday.

Only the candidates’ test scores were released. The rank list will be declared on June 7.

Students were told that they could access their scores online once the results were declared officially. However, many students complained that they were not able to access it online because the server was down.

The server was found to be busy till late at night. Many anxious students and their parents spent fruitless hours on the Internet trying to access the scores. “We could not get our daughter’s result online,” Sarbani Basu Roy, mother of a candidate, said.

“We didn’t know the exact time of the declaration of results. We tried to get the scores online several times, but failed. We’ll try again tomorrow (Thursday),” Sarbani said.

Candidates said they were frustrated that they could not see their scores despite repeated attempts. “All my friends faced the same problem. The server was not working and we could not get our scores. I hope, by tomorrow, scores will be available online,” Sristi Ganguly, a student, said.

Officials, however, told DNA that the results were declared late in the evening on Wednesday and students could access the results from the official website www.comedk.org
