Boys excel in engineering, medical entrance examination in Kerala

Boys cornered most of the top ranks in Kerala engineering and medical entrance examinations, results of which were announced today.

Deepak Mohan (Thiruvananthapuram), Rohan K Baby (Chennai) Rahul M Nair (Alappuzha), Anish K (Ernakulam) and Mathews P Mani (Kozhikode) won the first five ranks in Engineering.

Deviprasad Soman (Kozhikode), Jeena Augustine (Kottayam), Akash G Nair (Kasaragod), Vishnu K (Malappuram) and Dipin Sudhakaran (Kannur) bagged the first five ranks in Medicine.

Announcing the results, Education Minister MA Baby said the admission process for professional courses would begin next month.

Talks were in progress with managements of self financing colleges to decide on admission and fees structure, he said.
