Day after making a much-awaited debut on Twitter, US President Barack Obama has achieved another accolade by setting a new Guinness World Record for fastest time to reach a million followers on Twitter, in a span of mere five hours after going live.

The new record set by Obama’s new @POTUS account beat the previous record, which was set last year by ‘Iron Man’ star Robert Downey Jr., after the actor reached a million followers in 23 hours and 22 minutes, reported The Verge.
