Vikas Divyakirti is one of the popular educators in India. His reels, videos on various topics often go viral.
He is the founder of Drishti IAS Coaching Institute in Delhi. Dr Divyakirti also conducts mock UPSC interviews.
But do you know, he is also a former civil servant? The 50-year-old cracked UPSC exam in 1996 on his first attempt.
Dr Divyakirti secured All India Rank (AIR) of 384 in UPSC CSE 1996 at the age of 22.
He opted for Sociology and Hindi in UPSC Mains as optional subjects. He secured 343 marks in Hindi.
In GS, he got 321 marks in mains. Dr Divyakirti got 247 marks in Sociology, and 112 in Essay.
In the last stage of UPSC exam, the interview, he managed to get 156 marks.
After qualifying for all three stages. He was inducted into the Central Secretariat Service (CSS).
He worked there for one year and later quit his job and continued teaching.
