Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains are high-speed, long-distance electric multiple unit (EMU) train, which could replace the Rajdhani Express.
The trains will have AC first class, AC two-tier and AC three-tier sub-classes.
The introduction of this train with modern coaches could reduce the travel time significantly.
Modern amenities will include sensor-based lighting, better soundproofing, and automatic doors.
According to reports, they will have wheelchair-accessible sleepers, comfy bunk beds, and bathrooms with anti-spill washbasins and odour control systems.
Reports suggest that the train service could possibly start between Secunderabad and Pune.
