The Mughals ruled over India for a very long time. During his reign, a number of Mughal emperors reigned, and their legends are still read by many people today.

With the death of Aurangzeb in 1707, Delhi lost its kingship. Even though Delhi had numerous kings until 1719, according to historians, none of them was able to hold the throne for very long.

In the present day, the myths surrounding the Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah Rangeela also appear highly peculiar. From 1719 until 1748, Muhammad Shah Rangeela was the ruler.

Muhammad Shah Rangeela carried out a number of strange deeds during his rule that are still discussed today.

The heir was Muhammad Shah Rangeela, subsequently known as Roshan Akhtar alias Muhammad Shah.

At sixteen years old, Roshan Akhtar Muhammad Shah Rangeela became king. Muhammad Shah Rangeela abolished a number of Islamic law-related regulations after ascending to the throne.

Muhammad Shah Rangeela is credited with reviving Delhi's artistic and musical scene.

The Mughal emperor Muhammad Shah Rangeela took great pleasure in dressing as women.

Rumour has it that Muhammad Shah Rangeela often made court appearances wearing a ghagra choli.
