Armadillo lizard: is a type of lizard that is indigenous to the deserts of southern Africa. It got its name from looking a lot like an armored mammal.

Sidewinder snake: Residing in the desert, the Sidewinder snake is a poisonous reptile distinguished by its distinct way of moving that facilitates its swift movement over loose sand.

Desert tortoises: are animals that have evolved to survive in arid climates.

Camels: are animals well-suited to living in the desert. They possess humps that store fat, which provides them with energy, and they can close their nostrils to prevent sand from entering their nasal passages.

Fennec fox: is a desert-dwelling creature with large ears that help it disperse heat. It can go for long periods without drinking water.

Kangaroo rats: Born and raised in the desert, kangaroo rats are nocturnal rodents that get all the moisture they require from their diet. 

Gila monster: one of the two venomous lizards on the planet, lives in the deserts of northwest Mexico and the southwestern United States.

Deathstalker scorpion: One of the world's most venomous scorpions, the deathstalker is found in the deserts of North Africa and the Middle East.

Jerboas: small, nocturnal rodents that can jump with their long hind legs; they are found in Asia and Africa's steppes and deserts, where they have adapted to live in dry conditions.
