People are struggling to find affordable homes not just in one or two major cities but all around the world.

According to a housing report, there are ten most expensive housing markets globally. The markets are categorised into five affordability brackets based on their median multiple. Affordable (3.0 and under), Moderately Unaffordable (3.1 to 4.0), Seriously Unaffordable (4.1 to 5.0), Severely Unaffordable (5.1 to 8.9), Impossibly Unaffordable (9.0 and over).

Based on the median multiple to measure affordability, here are the ten most expensive or least affordable cities to buy a house.
