Players who won IPL title after leaving RCB

Yuvraj Singh was purchased by Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping INR 14 crore in the mega-auction of IPL 2014. The team was very eager to acquire him. However, this star all-rounder was released after just one season. Unfortunately, under the leadership of Virat Kohli, the team failed to qualify for the playoffs in the second phase of that season.

Yuvraj Singh won his first IPL trophy with Sunrisers Hyderabad after leaving RCB. Under the leadership of David Warner, the team defeated RCB in the final to claim the trophy. In 2019, Yuvraj secured his second IPL title with Mumbai Indians.

Parthiv Patel was a part of RCB in IPL 2014. He was once again chosen by the team in the mega-auction of IPL 2018. However, in IPL 2020, Parthiv was completely sidelined and kept on the bench throughout the season.

After immediately leaving RCB, Parthiv Patel won the IPL trophy for the second time. He was a part of Mumbai Indians from IPL 2015 to 2017 and won two IPL titles with them.

Jacques Kallis began his IPL career with RCB and stayed with them for three years. During Kallis' time, RCB played in an IPL final. They lost to the Deccan Chargers in the final of IPL 2009.

In 2011, Jacques Kallis joined the Kolkata Knight Riders and stayed with them for four years. Two years after leaving RCB, Kallis won his first IPL trophy with KKR. He was part of the team led by Gautam Gambhir that also lifted the IPL 2014 trophy.

Moeen Ali joined Royal Challengers Bangalore in the mega-auction of IPL 2018 and stayed with them for three years. During this time, the team led by Virat Kohli only managed to reach the playoffs once and failed to win the trophy.

Moeen Ali joined the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL 2021 auction and immediately won the IPL trophy after leaving RCB. He was retained by CSK before the mega auction of IPL 2022. Moeen Ali became a two-time IPL champion when CSK won the trophy of IPL 2023.

Robin Uthappa was a part of the RCB team in IPL 2009 and 2010. His team reached the final of IPL 2009, where they were defeated by the Deccan Chargers.

Robin Uthappa won his first IPL title in 2014 with the Kolkata Knight Riders. In 2021, Uthappa became a two-time IPL champion when the Chennai Super Kings defeated KKR in the final.
