Pakistani women's cricket star Aliya Riaz has married Ali Younis, the younger brother of former Pakistan cricket captain Waqar Younis.

The wedding took place at a farmhouse in Lahore.

 Pakistani captain Babar Azam was among the guests, and his photos with women's team captain Nida Dar are trending online.

Veteran cricketers, including Azhar Ali, Mohammad Yousuf, Mushtaq Ahmed, Rameez Raja, Inzamam Ul Haq and Misbah Ul Haq, graced the ceremony with their presence.

Pakistani women cricketers, including Nida Dar, Anam Amin, Iram Javed, Bismah Maroof, Sidra Amin, and Natalia Parvez, also attended the joyous occasion.

Earlier this month, Aliya and Ali Younis had a private engagement ceremony with only close family members present.

Aliya Riaz is one of Pakistan's top all-rounders in women's cricket. 

She has represented Pakistan in 62 ODI and 83 T20 matches, scoring 2147 runs and taking 30 wickets.

She has also played in the Women's T20 World Cups in 2018 and 2020.
