Former New Zealand skipper Brendon McCullum hit 158 runs for KKR in the very first match of Indian Premier League against RCB in 2008.
McCullum’s 158-run knock also marked the highest individual score in IPL for five years.
With KKR, he also won the IPL title in 2012. Later, he also coached the team from 2019 to 2022.
Former Australia cricketer Michael Hussey also hit a century on IPL debut.
Hussey who played for CSK smashed 116* runs against Kings XI Punjab in the inaugural season of IPL in 2008.
In his association with the MS Dhoni-led CSK, he won two IPL titles (2010 and 2011)
