Superfoods that prevent formation of kidney stones

Here are some foods to eat to prevent kidney stones from occurring.

Water. Drinking water is the most important way to prevent kidney stones.

Lemon. Lemon contains citric acid that combats kidney stones.

Oranges: They also contain citrate that prevents stones in the body.

Cruciferous vegetables. Vegetables rich in potassium like Brussels sprouts, broccoli and kale prevent kidney stones from forming. 

Whole grains. Most whole grains are useful in the prevention and treatment of kidney stones.

Calcium. The calcium in milk and yoghurt can lower the risk of kidney stones.
