8 foods that shouldn't be eaten with fish

There are certain food items that shouldn't be consumed with fish or after eating fish as they can be heavy and may slow down digestion or cause indigestion.

Milk

According to Ayurvedic principles, fish and milk should not be eaten together because they have different potencies. Fish is hot and milk is cold, which can affect blood circulation. 

Citrus fruits

Avoid consuming fruits that are high in acid such as oranges, grapefruits, and lemons as they can interfere with the digestion of fish.

Honey

Consuming honey with fish is considered harmful since this can lead to stomach-related problems.

Radish

Eating radish and fish together is not harmful but it can definitely affect your digestive system.

Jaggery
