Here are some foods that drain energy.

Sugary food: When consumed in excess amounts, sugar could cause insulin spikes and crashes.

Processed foods: Processed foods are high in salt and unhealthy fats, which cause sluggishness and a lack of energy. 

Fried foods: Fried foods are a major dampener for your energy levels. 

White bread, white pasta and white rice: These may quickly reduce your energy levels.

Caffeine: It could intervene with your sleep patterns and can lead to withdrawal symptoms like fatigue.

Alcohol: This causes energy reduction and also destructs your sleep patterns.
