Many people are fond of keeping pets.

However, it is important to select the right animals to keep as pets.

Here are five animals which should not be kept at home: 

Parrot: Hot non-stick fans release a gas that can be poisonous to parrots.

Rat: Rat lives for only 2 to 3 years, which may be heartbreaking.

Rabbits- It is a prey species, because of this they feel very weak and never like to be held or loved much.

Monkey- Monkeys are very intelligent creatures who like to be wild.

Ferret- It is an animal of mongoose species. They stink and bite intensely. They need a lot of open space.
