Sunglasses with UV protection: This is your first line of defense! Look for sunglasses that block 100% of UVA and UVB rays.

Wide-brimmed hat: A hat with a wide brim can significantly reduce the amount of sunlight reaching your eyes, especially from the harsh overhead sun.

Seek shade: Whenever possible, take breaks in shaded areas, especially during peak sunlight hours, typically between 10 am and 4 pm.

Sunscreen around the eyes: Apply sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher around your eyes, but be very careful not to get it in your eyes.

Avoid direct sunlight: It might sound obvious, but try to avoid looking directly at the sun.

Hydration: Staying hydrated is important for overall health, including your eyes.

Protective eyewear for activities: Consider wearing protective eyewear for specific activities.

Healthy diet: A diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and omega-3 fatty acids can contribute to overall eye health.
