Uric acid: 10 natural home remedies for gout

Make a juice of Indian Gooseberry and drink it in the morning. Its antioxidant and detoxifying properties can work like a magic potion.

Staying well-hydrated is important for flushing out excess uric acid. Drink 2 liters (8 glasses) of water daily to keep your body hydrated and promote uric acid excretion.

Limit your intake of purine-rich foods such as shellfish and certain vegetables like mushrooms and asparagus.

Take ginger internally by boiling water and steeping 2 teaspoons of gingerroot for 10 minutes. Enjoy 3 cups per day.

Mix juice from one squeezed half lemon into warm water. Combine with 2 teaspoons turmeric and 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar. Adjust to taste. Drink two to three times per day.

Try eating celery many times per day, especially raw celery sticks, juice, extract, or seeds.
