Celebrated actress and singer Ila Arun's daughter, Ishitta Arun, was born into a family of skilled people. And Ishitta worked hard to enhance her talent for writing and acting.

Recently, Ishitta has garnered praise with her performances in Hasnal Mehta's series Scoop and Rana Daggubatti-starrer series Rana Naidu. However, she has come a long way.

Studied in Arya Samaj Mandir and graduated from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai. Ishitta is a spiritual person. Ishitta always had clear-cut plans for herself. Ishitta had decided to get married by 25 and have kids by 27. Today, she has two beautiful daughters, Amaala and Alaaya.

In 2000, Ishitta also participated in Miss India, and her batchmates included actress Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Dia Mirza, and Payal Rohatgi. While participating, Priyanka and Ishitta even shared a room in Hyderabad and Pune.

After Miss India, Ishitta wasn't inclined towards working in Bollywood. She never wanted to become a heroine. Thus she concentrated on theatre. She is fond of writing and has produced several plays. Ishitta has also worked as a TV anchor for seven years. In 2005, Ishitta also performed in the Australian musical, Merchants of Bollywood.

Ishitta's mom, Ila Arun, has always encouraged her to act in films, but Ishitta disliked how heroines were categorised under different brackets of physical appearance.

Ishitta has restarted her career, and with OTT, she's exploring challenging roles and characters. Ishitta said, "I am game for every character that would challenge me, and I would like to set an example for my kids."
