On Friday, Anushka Sharma shared a painful message as team India skipper and her husband Virat Kohli and his men prepped to play against New Zealand in the World Test Championship (WTC) final at the Ageas Bowl.

Taking to her Instagram stories, Anushka shared her wish for the rain to 'go away' as it drizzled in Southampton, where the match was supposed to be played. Taking to her social media account, Anushka wrote, "Rain.... rain.... go away ! Come again after 5 days", followed by an eye-roll emoji.

In another story, Anushka shared a post by hubby Virat, featuring the Indian cricket team and wrote, "these guys", followed by a blue heart emoji.

For the uninformed, Anushka is currently in England, with her daughter Vamika Kohli. The mother-daughter duo is here with Virat Kohli for the WTC final that is scheduled to go on until Tuesday, with Wednesday kept as a reserve day.

On Friday, as rains spoiled the day, BCCI had tweeted, "Unfortunately there will be no play in the first session on Day 1 of the ICC World Test Championship final. #WTC21." 

Meanwhile, Anushka seems to be having a gala time in England. On Thursday night, the actress had shared a photo of her meal on Instagram stories while she watched a Test cricket game. She had captioned it saying, "Tea and scones on a rainy English summer day."

It was earlier this month, that Virat and Anushka arrived in Southampton with their daughter Vamika. Anushka had shared a photo on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of the Ageas Bowl behind her as well.
