Gujarat Lions all-rounder Dwayne Bravo has been penalised 50 per cent of his match fee for breaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) Code of Conduct during his team's match against Mumbai Indians at Green Park Stadium in Kanpur last evening.

Bravo almost came close to exchanging blows with Mumbai player and his West Indian mate Kieron Pollard, but ultimately things didn't take an ugly turn.

Bravo admitted to the Level 2 offence (Article 2.2.7) for inappropriate and deliberate physical contact with a player in the course of play during a match.
