We love a good concert, don’t we? In fact, we can’t stop talking about it from the moment the news is brought in; making plans with friends, even buying merchandise, just to be with it.

Call it a fad or not, but Bangalore’s ever-living affair with music is undeniable. And tomorrow, you can be part of the growing EDM (electronic dance music) culture as well.

The Prodigy, a group that took the world by storm a few years ago, is performing in Bangalore for the first time, as part of the Eristoff Invasion Tour and going by what the band has to say, there’s some mind-blowing explosion in store for us all.

Says Maxim, of The Prodigy, “Make sure you come because it’s something that’s going to blow your head off and will never experience again in India — until we come back.” That pretty much sums up what’s in store for you and with electronic music sweeping like a wave as far as Bangalore’s party circuit is concerned. Arvind Krishnan, general marketing, Bacardi India adds in, “With the changing music scenario, electronic music has floored many with its high energy. The Prodigy is purely reflective of that genius.”

After Smack My B**** Up, The Prodigy shot to fame and since then has only kept the tempo high and they’re promising to play everything. “Since this is our first show in India, we’ll be playing everything — right from our first album all the way up to Invaders Must Die. So, it’s going to be 20 years of music, spanning all the way across, full of old tunes and new tunes,” says Maxim.

But there’s some foreplay to look forward to as well. There are five acts before The Prodigy even takes the stage. There’s a DJ set by Pendulum, Heavy G, Pentagram, BBC and our own DJ Vachan. Incidentally, the D’n’B group, Pendulum, is one of Australia’s greatest contribution to the world of electronic music so yes, there’s some insanity in store for you tomorrow. Just be there at Palace Grounds from 4pm and make sure you got your tickets right!
