Punjab: People lit bonfires as winter chill grips Ludhiana

As dense fog engulfed and cold waves intensified in Ludhiana, Punjab on January 11, people lit bonfires to keep themselves warm. The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 9 degrees Celsius. Dense fog has reduced the visibility in the city.
