Prayagraj’s low-lying areas face flood-like situation after water level of Ganga, Yamuna rises

Low-lying areas near Sangam in Prayagraj are dealing with the flood-like situation due to the increase of water level of Ganga and Yamuna. Authorities sounded an alert on September 13 after the Ganga and Yamuna registered a constant rise in water levels. The district authorities have also reactivated its flood relief camps as both rivers flowing with the rise in water levels.
