Mumbai to initiate vaccination awareness drives in slum areas

Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar on June 11 said that awareness drives will be initiated in nearly 20,000 houses to encourage people from slum areas to get jabbed. Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar said, 'People from slum areas are apprehensive to take vaccine shots, we will initiate awareness drives in nearly 20,000 houses to encourage them. Some people are also refusing to take 2nd vaccine shot, we'll find them out and vaccinate.'
