Heritage steam engine attracts foreign tourists in Shimla

A century-old heritage steam engine has been attracting tourists to Shimla to come and experience the scenic beauty of the hill station. The 117-year-old KC-520 steam engine that runs coaches on narrow gauze was restarted again by rail authorities in a bid to attract tourism. The Kalka-Shimla railway line was declared as the UNESCO’s world heritage line in the year 2008.
