East Delhi Municipal Corporation sprinkles water on roads as a pollution control measure

Just after the Diwali celebrations, East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) sprinkled water on roads as a pollution control measure. The EDMC sprinkled water in Laxmi Nagar area and the adjacent areas. According to a government air quality monitor; the post-Diwali pollution levels in the national capital are likely to be the lowest as compared to the past three years as wind speed would possibly negate the impact of firecracker emissions and stubble burning.
