Congress workers protest against Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Kanpur

Congress workers protested against Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust in Kanpur city on June 15. They demanded legal action against the trust over alleged land scam. The protestors alleged irregularity in purchase of land to make that Ram Lalla Temple. This controversy was erupted after two parties of Uttar Pradesh alleged land scam in Ayodhya by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust set up by the centre last year and earlier a Samajwadi Party leader said that the piece of land was purchased for Rs 2 crores and ten minutes later, trust bought it for Rs 18.5 crore.
