Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden welcomes giraffe after 8-year gap

The Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden is an exchange programme between State Zoo and Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park, Patna. The Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden welcomed a female giraffe. The giraffe was approved by Central Zoo Authority, New Delhi. Giraffe is again the part of the zoo after a gap of 8 years. The giraffe was officially welcomed by State Minister for Environment and forest Parimal Suklabaidya.
