Army installs solar street light in Srinagar under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’

Indian Army installed solar street lights from Rangreth to Rawalpora Chowk in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar. The lights were installed to illuminate dark streets for the convenience of civilians. The project will ensure that streets are flood lit for night movement of civilians. The project was carried under ‘Operation Sadbhavana’. A Local said, "We used to face a problem, it's very helpful for us. Accidents used to occur in the dark, the lights will also save lives. We thank the Army."
