3 pangolin smugglers arrested in West Bengal

Police in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri arrested three persons for possessing a pangolin on May 27. Police also recovered 1.56 kg of pangolin scales. They have been arrested for the violation of Wild Life Protection Act 1972. Pangolins fetch high prices in the black market.
