105-year-old Kerala woman clears class 4 exam

105-year-old Bageerathi Amma from Parakulam in Kollam, who appeared for her fourth standard exam last November, got felicitated by village head and members of Kerala State Literacy Mission. She became the oldest learner of the Kerala State Literacy Mission and has passed her exam with 74.5 percent marks. Amma, in her adolescence, had to quit studies due to family responsibilities.
