Ghaziabad news: Several people have been injured after a leopard entered Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad District court premises on Wednesday. As soon as the information was received, the team of police and the forest department officials reached the spot to catch the leopard.

According to the latest update, the district administration and forest officials have successfully rescued the leopard after nearly 4 hours. Reports suggest that the leopard attacked and injured a cobbler outside CJM Court's office. 

Around 4 pm, the leopard suddenly entered the court from the IMT side. Later it entered the Chief Judicial Magistrate's court on the first floor. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

"We received information about it around 4 pm. District administration and forest officials reached the spot. The leopard was tranquilised. Two persons are critically injured and 4 received minor injuries. We will check the CCTV footage to know how the leopard entered here," ADM Ghaziabad said.
