Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Kuldeep Kumar, who tested positive for COVID-19, flouted quarantine rules and visited the family of the Hathras victim.

AAP MLA from Kondli Assembly constituency Kuldeep Kumar on September 29 tweeted that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. On October 3, Kuldeep Kumar took toTwitter to post several videos of him with the family of the woman who died after she was allegedly gangraped in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras district.

The Delhi BJP was quick to take note and demanded action against him.

Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta slammed AAP for playing "dirty politics" and asked Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal to take action against Kumar for his "irresponsible behaviour".

"Aam Aadmi Party can stoop down to any level for its political interest and corona-infected Delhi MLA Kuldeep Kumar's political sojourn in Hathras is proof of their dirty politics," Adesh Gupta was quoted as saying by news agency PTI.
