Photos: Indian jeweller makes ring with 12,638 diamonds, finds place in Guinness World Records
A 25-year-old jeweller based in Meerut has created a diamond-shaped diamond ring that has found a place in the Guinness World Records.
Named The Marigold - The Ring of Prosperity, the ring has over 12,000 diamonds and weighs about 165 grams (5.8 ounces). The manufacturer of the ring says that there is no intention of selling it.
The creator, Harshit Bansal, worked for nearly two years on the ring. In a statement, Harshit's company Renani Jewels has said in its statement that the ring has eight layers in its floral design, with each small petal being the most distinct.
