Oscar-winner Brie Larson will play the titular character. The movie will give us the answers on how this renegade soldier will save the Avengers in the upcoming ensemble movie.

Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Beck, Captain Marvel will hit Indian theatres in March 2019.

Blockbuster video renting shops are important symbols when it comes to representing the 90s era in American pop-culture. Here's your first hint that the movie is not set in the current timeline of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We are getting an origin story.

After the revamp of Captain Marvel comics she got a sash around her waist and a helmet that gave her hair a mohawk look. The movie got rid of the sash and replaced it with a snappy belt, but the helmet has survived.

This shot looks like something bad is about to happen to Captain Marvel. It could be a torture chamber in Skrull domain, or it could be a device to analyse what powers did Captain get when she fought on planet Hal.

Hal is Kree planet. Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel's second home. We have met Ronan the Accuser and Korath from this planet in first Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

This is where she became a member of Starforce.

The comic book version of Captain Marvel enlists a lot of superpowers in this superhero's reserve. Captain Marvel will show us some of them and if the filmmakers are smart, a few will be reserved for when she features in Avengers 4.

Phil Coulson is alive and fans of TV series SHIELD know it. Poor Avengers have not had a chance to find out about their little guys well being. Well, we get our first look of a younger version of Agent Coulson. Check out the hair!

While during the short appearance in the trailer Jude Law was in panic mode, looking at his San Diego Comic-Con avatar and the latest outing at Venice Film Festival, the buff look promises more.

Mar-Vell is a crucial character in Carol Danver's transformation from a renegade soldier to a superhero.

Lee Pace returns to play the blue menacing monster. Here we will find out how he lost his planet and became the bane of the lives of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

This is a shot in which we see that Nick Fury has both his eyes and possibly 20-20 vision. But wait for it...

SHIELD, Tony Stark have awed audiences with the tech they use and with the ease they use it. But this little device gave a lot of hope to devastated fans at the end of Avengers: Infinity War. Watch it here in action in its true era.

Pay close attention to the guy sitting atop a stool on the left. That's Nick Fury, pressing something on his left eye. The creature being operated on is one of the Skrulls. The man overseeing the procedure looks like Ben Mendelsohn who plays Skrull leader Talos.

Skrulls are green aliens that can change their shape into a person or thing. They are the arch nemesis of the Krees and seem to have their focus set on earth. Now you see why is it so hard for Captain Marvel to fight these guys?

Starforce was in existence in Marvel Universe before US President Donald Trump thought about it. Here we see Captain Marvel lead a small crew of these elite fighters.
