'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' teaser reveals a new villain

At Times Square a special exclusive teaser from 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' was screened for New Year's Eve revelers who got a sneak peek at a new villain. The Sony Pictures' film is set for a summer release later this year and stars Andrew Garfield in the lead role. New villains will be seen in the film including The Rhino played by Paul Giamatti and Electro portrayed by Jamie Foxx. The footage was introduced by comic-book creator Stan Lee. A clocked figure who tries to dislodge power cables that run under Times Square with his bare hands is seen in the clip. A tag line that reads, '39 million people visit Times Square each year, but this summer its most famous visitor begins his greatest battle' is flashed as well. Watch the trailer below for more.
