Top singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is denied a visa to record a song for actor Salman Khan.

Strange but true, acclaimed singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has been denied a visa to enter India. The singer, who has sung Tere Mast Mast Do Nain for Salman Khan’s forthcoming movie that releases this Eid, was supposed to record the track in Mumbai with composer duo Sajid-Wajid. However, when this development almost derailed the plans and despite efforts to bring him down to the country even by Salman Khan failed, the film-makers and the musician decided to switch to Plan B.

Confirming this new to us, Wajid says, “There was some visa problem, so Rahat couldn’t come to India. So, we first recorded the song in Pakistan but we weren’t very happy with the quality so we went to London to record the same with him.” Sajid adds, “Rahat was touched that we went all the way to London to record a song with him. Only his voice could suit a song like this and honestly we would travel to any part of the world to get him on board.”
