As students eagerly wait for the date sheet of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams 2021, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank is going to make some important announcements regarding CBSE soon. The education minister is slated to interact with presidents and secretaries of CBSE's Sahodaya school complexes at 2 pm today (January 28).

After the virtual meeting with more than 1,000 people who head various CBSE-affiliated schools, the minister is expected to give more information about the change in the school curriculum. These changes will be in line with the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The CBSE quoted Nishank in a tweet as saying, "I will be interacting with more than 1,000 CBSE school heads and discuss their role in the effective implementation of NEP 2020 at the grass root level."

The CBSE is going to create awareness about the NEP 2020 starting from this interaction.

"Beginning from this interaction, CBSE will be steering the orientation programmes through its 250 active Sahodaya School Complexes in the country to create awareness about NEP 2020," said the board.

The schools affiliated to the CBSE are making preparations as the date for the upcoming class 10 and class 12 board exams loom closer. It is to be noted that the CBSE Board exams for classes 10 and 12 will be conducted between May 4 and June 10.

As for the date sheet, the CBSE generally releases the date sheet for the board exams of classes 10 and 12 around two months before the starting of the exam. Certain reports suggest that the CBSE will release the date sheet 35-40 days from now. That means the CBSE will release the date sheet for the Board exams 2021 will be out anytime in the month of March.
