Meet actress Sayali Sanjeev, the rumoured girlfriend of CSK batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad
Ruturaj Gaikwad and Marathi actress Sayali Sanjeev sparked rumours of their relationship after their interaction on Instagram.
After some scintillating performances on the field in the recently suspended edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the Chennai Super Kings opening batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad has taken the internet by storm after his interaction with Marathi actress Sayali Sanjeev on Instagram went viral.
Gaikwad, who plays for Maharashtra in domestic cricket, on the other hand, denied if anything was taking place between the two as the two were sending each other heart emojis and commending each other over and over again.
Sayali, who made her debut in 2016 in films and on TV with the popular show, 'Kahe Diya Pardes' has become a household name in Maharashtra since and has appeared on many films and shows as well.
So, let's know her a little better:
Popular as Gauri in Kahe Diya Pardes, Sayali appeared on TV for the first time in 2014 in a music video alongside Sushant Shelar. She was part of the top ten best heroines on the 9x Jhakaas Top contest.
Sayali first acted in her college program in Nashik while pursuing a degree in BA politics where she won the best actress award. After being impressed by her performance, the judges of the show encouraged Sayali to take up acting as a profession. She continued to take part in many college shows modelling for brands like Swarovski Gems and Dentzz.
Sayali modelled for brands like Quikr, Birla Eyecare and Do It after which she got to make her debut in films Raju Parsekar's Police Lines- Ek Poorna Satya. She starred in the film alongside Bhonsle fame, Santosh Juvekar.
Since then she has starred in films like Atpadi Knights, Man Faqira, AB and CD, and The Story of a Paithani, establishing herself in Marathi film industry, while also featuring in shows like Kahe Diya Pardes, Gulmohar and Perfect Pati.
Sayali's shows 'Perfect Pati' and 'Gulmohar' helped her continue success on the small screen but it was 'Kahe Diya Pardes', which started it all. Playing Gauri, Sayali gained fame being the lead actress of the show, which earned herthe Best Actress Award of Zee Marathi in 2016 and Vaman Hari Pethe Jewelers Present Attractive Face.
Sayali recently, did an online series, Shubhmangal Online for which she won the award of the favourite daughter-in-law at Colors Marathi Awards.
Sayali congratulated the Maharashtra and CSK batsman Ro=uturaj Gaikwad after he posted pictures from CSK's win in the 2021 season of the IPL. On one post, a comment 'Wah waahh' was followed by heart emojis, to which he also replied with the heart emojis. On another, it was loved-eyes emoji with the heart emoji.
The interaction sparked rumours, which let a publication write a headline, Gaikwad clean bowled by actress Sayali Sanjeev.' To which, Gaikwad came up with a hilarious response in his native language Marathi saying, only bowlers can clean bowl him and advised people not to believe the rumours.
