Looks like Taapsee may have bagged her next project, even before the release of Saand Ki Aankh. Why do we say so? Well, if a report on Pinkvilla is anything to go by, then Taapsee has been approached by Shivam Nair, who previously directed her in Naam Shabana, for the biopic of India's first female horse jockey Rupa Singh. The actress is likely to play the protagonist in the film based on the life of Rupa Singh.

Reportedly, Nair has acquired the rights to Rupa Singh's life and is working on the script of the biopic as of now. He bounced off the idea to Taapsee and apparently she's shown keen interest in the project. Her formal approval is pending upon the formal narration of the script which will be locked soon. The film is supposed to begin rolling next year.

A source also informed the portal that Nair is currently working on Neeraj Pandey's upcoming web series and will begin Uszma Ahmed biopic next year with Saif Ali Khan and Shraddha Kapoor. In the meantime, Taapsee will be busy completing her other work commitments and promoting her upcoming film.

On the work front, Taapsee will soon be seen in Saand Ki Aankh and Mission Mangal.
