Wasn't she on a humanitarian mission?, asked the netizens.

This incident garnered a lot of criticism from the media and the denizens. She was called 'insensitive' and 'tone-deaf'.

Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput too seemed agitated with the incident. Known for never mincing words and speaking her heart out, Mira shared a picture of Melania's jacket on her Instagram story and wrote, "Seriously?"

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor and Mira are expecting their second child. The lovely couple announced the news of Mira's pregnancy in the most endearing way possible, with a picture of Misha, alongside the words 'Big sister'.

While facing midnight woes that every pregnant woman goes through, the soon to be mother (again), put up a story on Instagram which read,  “You know when you feel like butterflies in your stomach... now think of 2 hands and 2 feet in there. With hiccups... At 2 am. Party. Hoping for a good night's sleep".

Apparently, it was during Mira's first pregnancy that the couple fell in love. The two had an arranged marriage.

"Relationships are about experiences that you share together; that's how you fall in love. For me and Mira, Misha was our first project together. We felt a sense of togetherness and companionship," Shahid had said during India Today Woman Summit 2017.
